This Privacy Policy explains how AetherLab collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our AI risk assessment, guardrail, and related services.

Information you provide

  • Contact and account details, such as name, work email, company, and role
  • Messages, support requests, and other communications with us

  • Billing and transaction information, which may be processed by our payment providers

Automatically collected information

  • Service and security logs, including IP address and request information
  • Device, browser, and usage information
  • Cookies or similar technologies where used by our site or embedded service providers

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, support, and improve the services
  • Respond to inquiries and communicate about accounts, projects, and service updates
  • Protect the services, investigate misuse, and prevent fraud or security incidents
  • Process transactions and administer our business relationships
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements

Customer Content and Model Training

AetherLab does not use customer content to train AetherLab models. We process customer content to provide, secure, support, and maintain the services. Where a service uses a third-party model or infrastructure provider, that provider may process content as necessary to perform the service, subject to the applicable service configuration, agreement, and provider terms.

Batch inputs and results use encrypted, private staging. Batch results are ordinarily available for seven days, and staged media is ordinarily removed promptly after processing and within 24 hours. Contractual commitments for a particular engagement control if they differ from this general description.

How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • With service providers that help us host, secure, operate, and support the services
  • At a customer's direction or as needed to deliver a requested integration
  • When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security
  • In connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets

We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain security and business records, meet contractual commitments, and comply with law. Retention may vary by data type and engagement. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal, security, and backup requirements.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Depending on the service, these include:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest where supported
  • Access controls, logging, and monitoring
  • Separation of customer data and restricted production access
  • Incident response and service-continuity procedures

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request a portable copy of certain data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Opt out of marketing communications

We may need to verify your request. These rights are subject to applicable law and exceptions, including obligations to preserve security, transaction, and legal records.

International Processing

AetherLab and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Children

Our services are intended for organizations and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
